Vintage cars are one of my passions. On the weekend of February 11th, I was given access to photograph the 11th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance in Boca Raton, FL. The auction and display focused on Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg vintage cars, among many others.
Because I was invited, it meant I could photograph during normal show hours, but also early in the morning when the light was especially beneficial.
Do you consider yourself a car buff? If so, see if you can determine the make and year of the car in the attached image and let me know in the comments section below.
Also, here’s a link to my entire photo shoot from that weekend. That way, if you’re interested in what else was on display at the Concours d’Elegance, you can enjoy the rest of the pictures.
I was invited recently to the Miami International Boat Show by the owner of Cruiser Cats, a manufacturer of luxury power catamarans in South Africa. Since I make it a habit to take a camera almost everywhere I go, I was able to photograph the 42-foot Havana 42 on display at the show.
I sent my pictures to the owner and general manager the day after my visit, and had the pleasant surprise to find that they liked them enough to post them on their Facebook page the same day.
Here’s the text posted on the Cruiser Cats Facebook page. Click on the Cruiser Cats link to go to the post with all my photos of the Havana 42:
